The big bad bug thats been going around...

Yah, we have it. It found it's way to our house. I felt it coming on, on Saturday and by Sunday I could lift my head. I spent the whole day in bed and by Monday I thought "O.k. I have been sick for a good day now lets get on with it and be OVER it" Um no. I am still sick as ever. Bugger nose, stuffy nose, head weighing a million pounds and body aches! YUCK!!! And Drew has it too. Sawyer is just getting over a bad cough and a little cold (Which hasn't slowed him down in the least) but now my baby has it. Monday night he had a fever of 101. So the next morning I took him to the doc. Turns out he has Broncialitis. It is a bad ear infection, fever, sinus infection and lung infection. Poor little guy. He slept until 11a.m. today! And that NEVER happens. He really must not feel well. So we started him on an antiboitic with some Children Tylenol and he is a little chipper now.
We have been going through Kleenex like crazy and our noses are raw and I am SOOO ready to be over this and for it to be warm outside!!! Anyone else sick?

Genitics?

I don't consider myself to have super plump model lips and fo-show Nick doesn't have them. Hel-lo thin lips! ( But that was one thing I love about his features) So the question is...
Where do these two boys get these plump luscious lips that any runway model would kill for?
Beats me.... But I sure think its cute as ever!

A day in the life...

So this is usually a typical afternoon. Lunch at noon and Drew has a hard time keeping his eyes open. I can normally catch him when he is about done, clean him off and put him in bed. Today was a different story. He was a little too tired. He fell asleep in his chair. Oh he is cute!!!
But this is the norm for all meals to have it on the floor, all over his face, on the blinds and walls and of course smeared through his hair. What a kid!

Update!!!

SHE TOOK HIM BACK!!!! Yes, it is true. Carsen came home from school today pretty happy.
"How was school today? "
"Great mom! Lela and I are back together!!She came up to me and whispered to me 'we are back together'."
I sat there for a minute wondering, Just like that? That was all she said and Carsen was just like "o.k."! not a 'no you ripped my heart to shreds'.. nothing.
" You took her back?" I asked
He is confused and says,"Took her back? Mom, I am happy she wants to be my girlfriend again what do you mean 'took her back'? "
Never mind... I guess he is old enough to get dumped but not old enough to know how to play hard to get. ?
As long as he's happy...
I hope all girls don't do this to my boy.

The breakup...

Today was quite the day for my sweet Carsen. As some of you may know, he has had a little girlfriend for a while now. At first he was pretty shy about it and no one was able to say a word about it. The lately he has been more open about it saying she was his girlfriend and he loves her ( Yes, thats right, he loves her! What!!??) and that she loves him too. The other day he told me that some kids on the playground dared her to kiss him on the cheek and he told me "Mom I think I really wanted her to." Oh geez!

So, my little guy was in love with this girl. Lela is her name. Carsen has been on cloud nine for a while because of this little gal Lela. They write each other notes in school. "Do you like me?" "I like you" etc, etc.

But today Carsen came home from school bummed. No, not bummed more like really hurt. I asked what was wrong and he told me that Lela broke up with him.

"What? How do you know? " I asked. 

"She wrote me a note that said I want to break up with you." (of course a note how else?)

Carsen was so sad. He was fighting back the tears. Where is the note? 

"I threw it away because I was so mad." he said

"Why did she break up with you? " I asked.

"Because she likes Zac M. now. Today she was hanging out with him all day then later after that she gave me the note.I don't know why she likes him more than me. The other day Lela and I were walking and he came up and kicked us both right in the shins! I want to tell Lela she shouldn't want to be with someone who kicks her! I want to tell Lela that I would never kick her!"

me, trying not to laugh... "Thats right! You would not be mean to someone like that. Cars, she's crazy for breaking up with you"

Poor guy. Do you think he will always remember his first time a girl breaks his heart? 

I told him to still be her friend and to be nice to her even though this has hapened and he told me "I will mom. I still like her, but tomorrow at school is going to be hard to see her."

Oh the 3rd grade drama!!!
