You'll always be my baby!

So.. I went to a photography seminar for the IPPA (Intermountian Professional Photographers Association) and had to take Drew cuz it was an all day thing and you moms know the whole nursing thing. (it is sometims just easier to take them along than to prepare for the day away from them) Anyways... There was this awesome speaker/photographer there talking on studio lighting and so on and he asked if I would come up and let him shoot a few of me and my baby. Sure! I love pics of my kids. And is is rather difficult to get any mom and me pics when you are the one always behind the camera. But, how adorable is my Drew? And This guy did awesome! He is such a pro. I hope one day I can shoot as great as him. His name is Dennis Hammon.

Boys and bruises

I have a suspicion that Sawyer might be my accident prone kid. He is always falling and getting bruises and cuts. The thing is, he isn't a big cryer so that's good. If he gets hurt and really cries, we know there is something wrong!
This time,  Carsen and him were jumping around on the couches and Sawyer went to jump over a bag on the floor and tripped over it making him land on the edge of the couch. EWWW! He bit right through his lip and there was blood everywhere! You could see right where his little teeth were. I thought he might need stitches but they told me mouths heal very fast so I wouldn't need to. It is true because not even a week later it was almost completely healed. The morning after it happened, poor Sawyer had the biggest lip we had ever seen! These pics were taken 2 days after the accident. What a kid!
