North Park...

The other day Heather, Stacy and I took the kids to the new North Park. They had so much fun!! It was so warm and they played in the water like it was the middle of summer! The boys were so funny splashing in the water and then laying out on their towels all lined up. So cute!!

A baptism and a crazy 4 year old...

So today Carsen, Sawyer, Krystal, Porter and I headed up to Kaysville to my neice Gwen's baptism. It was such a beautiful day!!! Everything went great but today there were a few times that I was a little embarressed.

So,.. you know how in a baptism the bishop will ask all the kids to come up to the front and watch the kids be baptised? Well, they all did and after the baptisms were over and all the kids started to go back to thier seats,.. but, my little 4 year old (Sawyer) didnt think he needed to get back to his seat right away. No, he was just lally gagging around up in front of the room in front of everyone.. picking his nose... and then eating it!! Yeah, and not just once. He picked.. and he ate.. and he picked some more and ate some more. And again and again.

Keep in mind it is reverent time and I am trying ot get his attention with out bieng too loud. Sawyer! Come here!' ( in a whisper) Not soon enough did he make it back to his seat. I was so embarressed!! I heard a few soft snickers comming from the back of the room.

And as if that wasnt enough, After the whole program was over, we headed outside of the church to get a few pictures of the family. As I am snapping away I hear laughing. Come to find out my dear sweet 4 year old ( yes that would be Sawyer again..) decided he needed to pee and instead of going INSIDE of a building he decided to make a pretty sweet yellow design in the last patch of snow. Right there in front of everyone!!!

Yep thats my child. I am raising him well!!

but.. On a good note, the baptism was beautiful, Gwen did great and Tracy put together a nice little luncheon after. It was a great Saturday!!!!

I dont know if I am the only one who plays this with my kids but we think it is so funny!! The kids just laugh and laugh. This night Christian and Jocelyn were lucky enough to join us. :) They enjoyed it as well.
